Condo Edmonton

The Oilers came back to Edmonton last Sunday for a well deserved rest, aware of what lays ahead.

Mighty Ducks shot the Edmonton Oilers in every game of the Western Conference finals. What the Oilers did proved the difference. Hockey player Pronger, signed with the Oilers in August and though he's about to play in his first Stanley Cup final after nine playoff seasons with the St. Louis Blues, he is still not satisfied just being there.

Edmonton awaits either Carolina or Buffalo, whose Eastern Conference finals series is tied 2-2. The Oilers are the lowest-seeded team to ever reach the finals in the current playoff format.

The NHL Oilers tied it on a twirl goal by Ethan Moreau at 3:42. Giguere blocked Moreau's initial shot with his stick, but Moreau got another chance and sent the puck through a narrow opening between Giguere and the post. Chances are Oilers will stand strong for what is to be their toughest task to accomplish.
